Physio Referrals

Did you know all adults (16 years and over) with spinal, muscle, joint and tendon pain can see a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist without the need to see a GP first?

Our receptionists can refer you for a one-off consultation with a physio in Cardiff. They can provide specialist examination and doagnosis, and are able to provide advice and exercises to promote self-care, work, and wellbeing. They can also refer to other specialties or for further investigations if required.

Stay Steady Clinic

The community physiotherapy service provides Stay Steady Clinics early intervention for individuals worried about falling, or who are a little unsteady on their feet.

To find out if these clinics would be suitable for you, answer the following questions:

  1. Have you had a fall in the last year ? Yes/No
  2. Do you need to use your hands to get up from a chair or ever feel unsteady on your feet? Yes/No
  3. Does a fear of falling stop you taking part in activities or doing daily tasks? Yes/No

If you answered yes to any of these questions, the clinics may be a suitable service for you to get some advice.
